wide range of web and mobile device technologies.
Developed using the latest generation technologies (ASP.NET, AJAX and web services) the system is designed to interoperate seamlessly with other applications.
- Security
Server-side digital certificates, SSL, encryption of Internet session, database encryption including encrypted link between database and application
and robust industry standard password management processes. Server security is compliant with CISSP security and AS/7799.
Physical system security includes location of the EpiSoft servers within a purpose built high availability Data Centre in a jurisdiction with
among the most stringent privacy and health records laws with a disaster recovery site interstate.
- Accessibility
Being Internet-based, no maintenance or support is required by hospital IT departments; for users who do not have access
to the Internet on regularly used PCs, we have a mechanism for capturing data offline using widely available technologies.
The EpiSoft user interface is modelled on Microsoft Outlook navigation so any user familiar with this common email program can use the
EpiSoft system after a brief training session.
EpiSoft is compatible with all of the commonly used Internet browsers.
